Storyline

The Unidec employees are shocked when they learn that the accountant of the company had been killed. Besides the police, private investigators Laura Holt and Remington Steele are also entrusted with an investigation that will lead to the killer.

During their inquiries, the two private investigators are put on guard in regards to the mysterious Project Omega, which is apparently run by Unidec. Their further investigations lead Remington and Laura to the conclusion that Project Omega is used for seemingly secret operations of the management.

Naturally, the detectives continue focusing on this lead, because this could be the motive for the murder. Shortly after, Lyle Andrews tries to kidnap Laura Holt, which, fortunately, can still be prevented.

The private investigators then find out what the story behind Project Omega really is. Omega is apparently a sham company that is used to embezzle millions of dollars so as to flow into the pockets of masterminds.

It seems as if the accountant has gained information about these intrigues and therefore needed to be killed.
