China Smith

China Smith, played by Dan Duryea, was in 1952 erstmali on TV.China Smith was a private detective from Singapore, who had his office in a bar. Although he was a rather rough guy, he always wore white suits, but hesitated not both fists and gun use.

He always accompanied Shira ("Empress"), a lady who was a female dragon form played by Myrna Dell. Its field was as a detective in the whole of Singapore, Asia and the Orient.

The series, with 52 episodes, was aired in the years 1952 to 1955.The first season of 26 episodes was China Smith and the second season was called The New Adventures of China Smith.

Robert Dennis wrote the screenplay for this and Arthur Peirson and Edward Mann led director. The footage was of tableau Television Ltd.made and sold, the series of the National Telefilm Associates.
