The Man from Blackhawk was a Western series starring Robert Rockwell, who played the role of Sam Logan. Sam Logan was an insurance investigator, working for the Blackhawk Insurance Company.

Logan checked all claims for accuracy, always on the lookout for fraud and dishonesty. Unlike most of his Western colleagues, Logan was dressed more like a city man, with a chic suit and a bow tie, and not like a typical cowboy.

He also distinguished himself from many western heroes of the time in that he rarely wore a pistol and instead preferred using his brain or his fists in times of difficulty.

The Man from Blackhawk was created by Frank J. Barron. The series was produced by Herb Meadow.
