Hollywood Offbeat

Steve Randall, also known as Hollywood Offbeat, was a former attorney who had lost his license and who was working in Hollywood as a private investigator.

 

The office of his one-man detective agency was on 6103 Gentry Avenue in Hollywood. For his services, he charged $ 25 a day plus expenses. His motto was "difficulties are my business."

 

Melvyn Douglas played the role of Steve Randall. The series, however, was cancelled after only one season with 13 episode. Furthermore. Will Jordan and Mary Beth Hughes were also part of the cast. The series was produced by Lester Lewis and Marion Parsonette.
