Coronado 9 was written by Lawrence Kimble, produced by Richard Irving and directed by William Witney and Richard Irving.

 

In the crime series, Rod Cameron plays former U.S. Marine intelligence officer Dan Adams, who works as a private investigator in San Diego. The series plays in the early 60’s.

 

Coronado 9 was the number of a switchboard for a wealthy suburb of San Diego. This suburb was the territory of Dan Adams and the home of many of his wealthy clients.

 

Using his brain and muscles, he tries to solve every case that may seem insoluble. Mostly rich and famous people are involved. The search for justice brings him much rum in the world, for example in London, New Orleans and Honolulu.

 

39 episodes were produced between 1959 and 1960.
