Napoleon "Bony" Bonaparte

Detective Inspector Napoleon "Bony" Bonaparte comes from a so-called mixed marriage, and is from North Queensland, Australia. He grew up in a missionary settlement. His father was an unknown white settler and his mother an Aborigine who was killed when Napoleon Bonaparte was a little kid.

Inspector Bony is a smoker and rolls his own cigarettes. He always carries a cigarette holder with him in the event that he would leave a better impression in certain environment if he had already smoked cigarettes. Even after years of practice in rolling his cigarette, he is still not very good at it. His cigarettes always have a thick middle and two thin ends.

Napoleon Bonaparte is of a slim build. The dark skin he inherited from his mother and his ocean-blue eyes from his father. His voice is deep and enjoyable, and can even sound harsh when investigations require it. Bony is energetic and even though he usually appears gentle, he is able to assert himself.

Since the beginning his career as an inspector in the Queensland Criminal Investigation Department, Inspector Bonaparte has left no case unsolved, as he himself says, and has always identified the perpetrator. His studies at the University of Brisbane provided him with extensive knowledge into the psyche of criminals and even the psychology of women. The investigator works on his cases alone. His only prerequisite is that the investigation promise to be interesting.

During his investigation, Inspector Bony is usually neatly dressed, providing his assignment and his investigations do not require otherwise. He wears a smart suit and a bowler hat and shoes that are polished to a shine. His conduct is always above reproach and he always behaves politely. Unlike many of his colleagues, Bonyplaces great value on the opinions of colleagues in the field. For him, not only the facts are of interest. He receives a lot of information about the background of the victim from colleagues from the local police. Moreover, he is curious about anything that might be of interest at a later date in the investigation.

Every person close to the victim is initially a suspect in the eyes of Inspector Bony. He eliminates suspects until he can identify the perpetrators. The determination methods of the Australian investigator are subject to many questions about the victim's environment. His polite behaviour, even towards his inferiors, helps him in receiving information that that often remains undisclosed to his colleagues. On top of that, Bony is a very good evidence tracker, and he may even find pieces of evidence that go unnoticed by others.

Inspector Napoleon Bonaparte listens to his intuition during investigations, which, together with his talent and skill, helps him put all the pieces of the puzzle together.

Bony is married to Marie, lives in Banyo and has 3 sons.
