Greg Sanders

Greg Sanders has received his first chemistry set at age 7. Even from that moment on it was clear that he wanted to be a scientist. He graduated from Stanford University in Stanford in the U.S. state of California, which is one of the best universities in the world.

Today Greg Sanders (played by Eric Szmanda) works as a laboratory technician on the night shift at the Las Vegas Crime Lab and is responsible for genetic testing and DNA analysis.

Because the sometimes oblique jester Sanders always tries to know about as much as possible the latest scientific advances, it leaves him little free time. When he lets his work breathe, the single man drives and likes a lot of sports, going out with friends or playing on his Playstation.

Greg Sanders is often a bit overzealous, which of course can sometimes lead to amusing or embarrassing situations. Still, it's Greg Sanders' deepest wish finally come true to operate at the crime scene and be allowed out of the lab.

First, his chances are rather poor because of his partially rather immature behaviour.

Over time, this behaviour does change for the better, partly thanks to and his supervisor Gil Grissom, making him a few steps closer to his goal and his wish finally comes true in the fifth season.

Although he initially behaved as the joker among his colleagues, not always to their amusement, his behaviour, as well as his clothes, have changed. His demeanour was calmed and his dress style was serious and conformed more to his new position. His colleague Nick Stokes is still most likely to laugh at Greg's jokes because he is a mostly good-humoured man himself.

Sanders also likes surprising people. The sometimes a little overexcited Greg borrowed a book on the old Las Vegas with its Mafia bosses and wrote a book about the related crimes, something would not be considered typical behaviour for him.

Although the character of Greg Sanders was initially only designed as a supporting actor of the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, the character of the slightly crazed lab technician became an integral part of the team. Through his new status as an investigator in the field, he is now a matter of course.
